Ivan Kirshner, DDS:
Ivan Kirshner entered the financial services area in 1990 after leaving the private practice of dentistry. He attended the University of Arizona and graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry in 1968.
In his first professional career as a dentist, Ivan served as president of several dental organizations and served on the board of his local and state associations. He has volunteered his services for underprivileged children and was on the board of directors of Crohns and Colitis Foundation of America – Arizona.
Ivan began his second career after retiring from dentistry for health reasons. He has intensely pursued classes and continuing education in finance and economics with emphasis on Macroeconomic financial concepts since 1990. This has enabled him to assist hundreds of other health professionals in a unique way that they have not been exposed to before. He has taught seminars on personal financial economics to many study groups and schools and has published several articles in dental publications dealing with planning and insurance matters.
Jeff Kirshner, CPA, PFS, MBA:
Jeffrey Kirshner began his career in professional services in 1991 when he graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in accounting and went to work for Coopers & Lybrand, LLC in the San Francisco Bay Area. After earning his CPA and working several years in public accounting, he went back to school to earn his MBA in Finance and Marketing from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California. Upon graduation, he went to work for Oracle Corporation where he implemented large scale financial and sales systems for medium to large companies.
Jeff entered the financial services industry in 2001 when he joined Ivan and Michael. Jeff is a regular qualifier of the Million Dollar Roundtable and Guardian’s Leader’s Club. He is also a member of the Guardian’s Inner Circle for leading disability income agents. After years of study, continuing education and comprehensive planning with his clients, Jeffrey earned the Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) designation, a designation available only to CPAs that are members in good standing with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and that meet the comprehensive ethical, educational and professional foundation as determined by the AICPA.
He works primarily with physicians, dentists and business owners. He also does frequent lectures and training seminars to other professionals in the area of Personal Financial Planning.
