GORP 2018

GORP 2018
Location: Ann Harbor, Michigan
Dates: 8/2/2018 - 8/5/2018

Welcome Orthodontic Residents, Exhibitors, and AAO Entities

The 30th annual Graduate Orthodontic Residents Program (GORP) will be held Thursday, August 2 – Sunday, August 5, 2018. Once again, we are inviting all orthodontic residents from the United States and Canada to attend. The meeting will be held at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI.

Residents will be staying at two dormitories located on the UofM campus.

GORP began in 1989 as a means of bringing the orthodontists of the future together for a summer meeting, creating an environment to foster professional growth and interpersonal relationships among colleagues and representatives of the orthodontic industry. Over the past 29 years, the meeting has grown to an event that involves nearly 500 orthodontic residents from the United States and Canada.

We are excited to host GORP this year at the University of Michigan. Friday morning activities will occur throughout Ann Arbor with an evening picnic at the "Big House". This year's cocktail party and banquet will be hosted at The Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, MI.

This program is unique in that it is the first annual conference to bring together residents in a dental or medical specialty program. The meeting is sponsored by donations from orthodontic exhibitors, The American Board of Orthodontics and its constituent associations, and the American Association of Orthodontists Foundation.

The University of Michigan orthodontic residents look forward to hosting this year’s GORP meeting. We hope to welcome as many individuals as possible to this year’s event. If you have any questions, please see the contacts link below for more information; please do not hesitate to contact us.

On behalf of the residents at UofM Orthodontics, we look forward to seeing you in Ann Arbor!
