29th Annual GORP

Location: Cleveland Marriott downtown Hotel - Cleveland, OH
Dates: 8/3/2017 - 8/7/2017

Orthodontic Residents, Exhibitors, and AAO Entities
We are pleased to inform you that the 29th Annual Graduate Orthodontic Residents Program (GORP) will be held Thursday, August 3 – Sunday, August 6, 2017. Once again, we are inviting all orthodontic residents from the United States and Canada to attend. The meeting will be held in Cleveland, OH at the Cleveland Marriott downtown Hotel.

GORP began in 1989 as a means of bringing the orthodontists of the future together for a summer meeting, creating an environment to foster professional growth and interpersonal relationships among colleagues and representatives of the orthodontic industry. Over the past 28 years, the meeting has grown to an event that involves nearly 500 orthodontic residents from the United States and Canada. The meeting is held every other year at the University of Michigan, with the alternate years at other institutions. 2016 will be the first time it will be held in Cleveland, and hosted by Case Western Reserve University. Past meetings have been held at St. Louis University, the University of North Carolina, Harvard University, University of Texas at Houston, University of Illinois at Chicago, The Ohio State University, University of Toronto, University of Kentucky, University of Washington and the University of Minnesota.

We are excited to be downtown Cleveland, in the middle of a lot of action, and to be hosting the Friday night event at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

This program is unique in that it is the first annual conference to bring together residents in a dental or medical specialty program. The meeting is sponsored by donations from orthodontic exhibitors, the American Board of Orthodontics and its constituent associations, and the American Association of Orthodontists Foundation.

The Case Western Reserve University orthodontic residents look forward to be hosting our first GORP meeting, and we hope to welcome as many individuals as possible to this year’s event. If you have any questions, please see the contacts link below for more information; please to do not hesitate to contact us.

On behalf of the residents at CWRU Orthodontics, we look forward to seeing you in downtown Cleveland.
