NEWPORT BEACH, Calif.—With the help of their nephew, Townies and twin brothers Stuart Frost (stufrost) and Steve Frost (sfrost) saved a young child on a California beach over the Fourth of July weekend.

Stuart is an orthodontist while Steve is an endodontist. Both brothers practice in Mesa, Arizona.

Stuart, Steve and his nephew Jesse Martin were enjoying a relaxing day on the beach when they noticed a woman in distress and decided to see what was wrong. The three soon learned that the woman's 2-year-old son was missing.

"Our mother always taught us that when someone’s in need, you step up and help them," said Stuart Frost.

After frantically searching, Martin found the young boy buried beneath the sand where he was playing earlier. The child was unresponsive and that's when Steve began chest compressions. Shortly thereafter the boy began screaming and crying.

The boy was taken to the hospital and is doing well.
