HOUSTON—Registration is now open for “The Evolution of Orthodontics: Integrating Accelerated Orthodontics to Increase Growth and Efficiency,” a complimentary webinar that will be streamed live on Friday, Aug. 19 via orthoaccellearning.com.

Webinar facilitator Brooke Simons-McIntyre, an orthodontic practice consultant, will discuss accelerated treatment options, such as AcceleDent, an FDA-cleared orthodontic vibratory device that speeds up orthodontic treatment by as much as 50 percent and relieves discomfort. She will focus on how accelerated treatment options positively impact practice growth and efficiency.

Open to orthodontists, treatment coordinators, clinical assistants and all practice staff, webinar participants will gain an overview of the primary accelerated treatment modalities and how they benefit patients and differentiate a practice. Additional objectives include learning how to successfully integrate accelerated orthodontics into your practice and how to effectively communicate the benefits of accelerated orthodontics to potential patients.

Simons-McIntyre has more than 15 years of orthodontic practice experience. Among her various clinical and administrative roles, she served as a practice manager and treatment coordinator for Drs. Stuart Frost and John Graham, two highly respected orthodontists and lecturers. When Graham became one of the first orthodontists in the country to offer accelerated orthodontic treatment with AcceleDent in 2012, Simons-McIntyre ensured seamless integration with the practice’s case management system, patient financing and marketing.

“Accelerated orthodontics has significantly impacted orthodontics by enhancing the patient treatment experience and creating opportunities for orthodontists to grow their practices,” said Simons-McIntyre, who has presented several lectures at regional, national and international orthodontics events, including study club meetings, continuing education presentations and the annual Ormco Forum. “This interactive webinar will provide orthodontists and their teams with a practical guide to offering accelerated orthodontic technology in a way that is beneficial to the patient and the practice.”

Participants who complete the complimentary webinar and the subsequent exam will receive one CE credit accredited by the American Dental Association Continuing Education Recognition Program.
