Henry Schein Orthodontics Announces 4th Annual
European Carriere Symposium Will Be in Paris
Henry Schein Orthodontics has announced that its fourth annual European Carriere Symposium will take place Sept. 20–22 in Paris at the Hyatt Regency Paris Etoile.
The symposium will focus on the latest technologies and evidence-based treatment protocols. Renowned speakers will present innovative concepts to help diagnose and establish treatment plans, such as the “sagittal first” philosophy, the new Carriere SLX 3D complete bracket system and the Carriere Motion 3D appliances. They also will share proven strategies that increase clinical efficiency, shorten treatment time and help achieve long-term results.
The keynote speaker and inventor of the Carriere philosophy, Dr. Luis Carrière, will focus on evidence-based clinical solutions for the treatment of complex Class II and III cases. Carrière will be supported by the program chairman, Dr. David Paquette, who is also HSO’s lead clinical adviser and presenter of “The Evolution of Self-Ligation,” and featured speaker Dr. John Graham, who will talk about how sagittal-first will transform today’s orthodontic practice.

Roncone Orthodontics International Releases
New JSOP Dates
Roncone Orthodontics International has released new dates for Just Short of Perfect 34 with the first session on Sept.?27. Just Short of Perfect (JSOP) is a one-year course, consisting of three sessions led by Dr. Ron Roncone at his practice and training facility in Vista, California.
The training course covers everything from the business of orthodontics including the Roncone philosophy, the PhysioDynamic system, and marketing and communications specific to an orthodontic practice. Attendees take a detailed look at their individual practices and find areas of improvement to create more efficient, profitable businesses. Throughout the course, Roncone provides an extensive overview of small changes in the practice that can make a big difference in the bottom line.
Roncone has graduated more than 600 orthodontists worldwide since the first JSOP session. Each program graduate becomes a part of a group of orthodontists called the “Orthobarbarians.” The Orthobarbarian study club meets once a year and is open to JSOP graduates only.
