Description of Speaker:
Dr. Michael Glick is Professor, Department of Diagnostic Sciences, School of Dental Medicine, University at Buffalo and the immediate past Editor-in-Chief and The Journal of the American Dental Association. Dr. Glick has published more than 300 articles and book chapters, as well as 10 textbooks.
Upon completion of this course, participants should be able to achieve the following:
- understand the vocabulary used during the COVID-19 pandemic
- understand the concept of pandemic growth
- be able to address concerns about COVID-19 transmission
- know where to get information about infection control updates
- understand the importance of testing for COVID-19
