General Dentistry Associate – Lakeport, CA (Lake County)

A well-established, 100% fee-for-service general practice in Lakeport is seeking a long-term associate to join its team, with a January 2027 start. The practice has served Lake County for 30 years and is known locally as the go-to office for comprehensive care, with an emphasis on surgery, IV sedation, All-on-X, and high-end cosmetics. It consistently ranks as a community favorite and welcomes 30–40 new patients each month.

The associate will work alongside one full-time doctor, supported by two full-time hygienists and a highly trained, long-tenured clinical team. The office is a beautiful standalone building with 12 operatories and state-of-the-art technology, including CBCT, iTero, Trios, in-house milling, PRF, and fully digital x-rays and charting. The ideal candidate is confident in crown and bridge, fillings, removables, simple extractions, and anterior/premolar endo, and has completed a residency or has at least two years of private practice or clinic experience. Just as important: a strong work ethic, a genuine desire to grow clinically, and excellent chairside manner. Extensive mentorship is available from an AAID diplomate and IV sedation provider with more than 30 years of experience.

The position starts at three days per week (Monday–Wednesday or Tuesday–Thursday, 9–5), building to four days as the schedule grows. Compensation is $1,000/day for the first 90 days, then 30% of collections (as a fee-for-service office, collections equal production). The package includes a $5,000 annual CE stipend, possible relocation assistance, and, for full-time associates, a health insurance stipend, paid PTO, and a 401(k) match. For the right doctor, partnership or buy-in is available after one year of associateship. The goal is to develop the next leading dentist in Lake County.
