Great Lakes Expands Line of Orthodontic 3D Scanners
Great Lakes has expanded its line of 3Shape orthodontic 3D scanners to meet the wide range of needs of orthodontic practices and labs.
Scanner options include the R500, a cost-efficient entry scanner to CAD/CAM; the new R750; and the new R2000, which allows upper and lower simultaneous scans. The scanners quickly capture plaster models and impressions using dedicated tools to achieve perfect occlusion. Accurate digital study models are created in just a few clicks.
3Shape's patented Adaptive Impression Scanning detects incomplete areas and automatically builds scan sequences to capture the full geometry in extreme detail. Users add virtual bases to their scanned models, efficiently and consistently replicating traditional physical models, and utilize an open STL file format for flexibility and easy integration.
For more information about these orthodontic 3D scanners, contact Great Lakes at (800) 828-7626 and speak to a digital specialist, or visit Digital-ortho.com.
