Ortho Share 3D
InnSoft recently announced the release of its Ortho Share 3D software, which is designed to import and manage patient records such as photos, X-rays and 3D dental models in a searchable database. These records can be shared with patients, coordinating doctors, labs and insurance companies.
As an organizer for 2D and 3D data, Ortho Share 3D is designed for importing, storing in individual patient folders, organizing, editing, displaying and exporting. Photos can be rotated, cropped, aligned, organized and viewed in ABO format or user-defined layouts. Along with photos, the software can store data such as X-rays (panoramic, periapical, lateral and PA cephs), intraoral scans, 3D dental model scans, 3D facial scans, treatment plans, letters and exam forms.
The software allows for multiple cephalometric and model analyses to be displayed when working on treatment plans. It also allows clinicians to adjust treatment plans and recalculate tooth movement if needed, while a heat map option can be used to check occlusion. In addition to viewing during appointments, files can be encrypted and then transferred over secure file transfer protocol. Ortho Share 3D allows digital records submission directly from doctors to insurance companies for claim submissions.
