DynaFusion
DynaFlex has launched DynaFusion, a free digital prescription submission software that lets the company’s customers submit prescriptions and digital files and gives their teams access to manage orthodontic and sleep laboratory cases. Users can reference or check the status of cases through a management system and track case shipments and pay invoices through an online portal, all with one login.

The software allows either the office or a company designer in coordination with the office to establish a library of templates. Orthodontists can start a case from a template, add the patient’s name and due date information, make any necessary adjustments, attach scans and submit a case. Once a case is submitted, orthodontists can view, download, save or print the final work order.

BioSoray-5
Goodway Technologies has launched BioSpray-5, a lightweight, portable surface sanitation system that disinfects surfaces against bacteria and viruses.

The system is packaged in a case that includes a CO2-based propelled system that provides better coverage than traditional pump sprayers while using less chemical volume. It is designed for intermittent spraying of alcohol-based sanitizers and doesn’t require any power. It also comes with a built-in handle for portability and ease when moving to the next application.

Attest Mini Auto-Reader 490M
3M has released the Attest Mini Auto-Reader 490M, a sterilization monitoring system that provides results in less than 30 minutes.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends weekly biological indicators or spore tests to monitor the sterilization process. These tests monitor the killing of a large population of resistant microorganisms and provide assurance to dental practices that their sterilization cycle parameters have been met. Current biological indicator testing of sterilizers in dental offices, via in-office monitoring or mail-in service, can take anywhere from 24 hours to one week for results.

The 3M auto-reader features a small footprint and is designed to incubate and read 3M Attest Super Rapid Readout Biological Indicators 1491 and 1492V for a final fluorescent result in 24 minutes.
