3D Automated Bracket Removal Software

EasyRx has announced the addition of EasyRx 3D Automated Bracket Removal software to its universal lab prescription, digital workflow and 3D software platform. The software automatically scans and digitally removes brackets from scans.

As scans are uploaded to EasyRx, they are automatically scanned for brackets. If brackets are detected on the scan, EasyRx Automated Bracket Removal digitally removes the brackets, saving a new file with no user interaction required. The software will save hours of time spent manually removing brackets, reducing patient visits, freeing up critical lab tech time and giving more control to turnaround times and costs.

Opti-Klear

OrthoEssentials is launching its new Opti-Klear aligner and retainer material that is extra durable and exhibits great strength. The material is also wear-resistant, easy to form and will not bubble. Opti-Klear has excellent clarity and will also bond with acrylics. It can be used for either retainers or aligners and comes in two diameters.

OrthoTrac v15.1.3

With the newest updates to Carestream Dental’s practice management system, OrthoTrac, users can enlarge a patient’s Snapshot image to help front desk team members recognize patients and either move them to the operatory or ask them to wait in a designated area.

Enhancements have also been made to the Patient Flow light bar that lets users know where each patient is on his or her appointment journey. New colors and fonts make the light bar easier to read, and timers now show exactly how many minutes are left in an appointment. The improvements also make it easier to see when patients are early and when appointments are either on time or running over.

To reduce the chance of patients coming into avoidable contact with each other, a chart at the bottom of the updated light bar shows how many patients are in each area of the practice. This lets team members reduce contact among patients so they can better adhere to social distancing.

In addition to helping practices manage patients during their appointments, OrthoTrac v15.1.3 has redesigned the Patient Flow user interface to feature a more modern look and feel. The updated icons, revamped color palette and optimized screen scalability that adapts to computers with different resolutions all aid with improved visibility.
