Gaidge Announces Software
Integration with OrthoFi
Gaidge, a provider of business intelligence and
practice analytics, has integrated with OrthoFi, a
provider of patient acquisition and revenue cycle
management software. OrthoFi clients now have access
to comprehensive practice analytics and reporting within
the Gaidge platform without interruption or the need for
dual entry into two systems.
Gaidge develops tools and solutions designed to
streamline practice systems, leverage automation,
increase visibility to business performance and save time
managing the office. The integration will allow users
to access full benefits from both Gaidge and OrthoFi
software systems.

Elects New Member
to Board of Directors
Henry Schein has elected Dr. Reed
V. Tuckson to the company’s board
of directors. Since 2014, Tuckson has
served as managing director of Tuckson
Health Connections, a health and medical
care consulting business. He is also the
founder of the Black Coalition Against
COVID-19, a community-based initiative
that provides science-based information
curated for the Black community and
other communities of color about
COVID-19 vaccines and related topics.
Previously, Tuckson served as executive
vice president and chief of medical
affairs for UnitedHealth Group, where
he oversaw the company’s medical and
clinical-related policies and activities.
Tuckson received a bachelor’s
degree in from Howard University and
a medical degree from Georgetown
University School of Medicine.
He completed the University of
Pennsylvania Hospital’s general internal
medicine residency and fellowship
programs, where he also was a Robert
Wood Johnson Foundation clinical scholar
studying at the Wharton School of
Business.
Grin Closes $14M Round With Procter & Gamble, Triventures and SpringRock Ventures
Grin, a digital orthodontic platform that provides orthodontic solutions in partnership with local doctors, announced a $10 million funding
round led by Triventures with participation from Procter & Gamble Oral Care and SpringRock Ventures. Combined with financial backing from
independent orthodontists, this brings the company’s total funding to $14 million.
With this funding, the company will invest in technological innovations, add talent to support a growing team and enhance its orthodontic
partner network. Grin will expand its geographic reach, implement more platform features and further invest in enhanced teeth scanning through
the Grin app and Grin Scope.

EasyRx Joins AAO In-House Clear Aligner Program
EasyRx, a universal lab prescription, digital workflow and 3D software company, has joined the AAO’s new TechSelect
program. The company’s aligner tracking system helps practices manage and track in-house clear aligner cases. AAO
TechSelect is a research and learning tool designed to help implement in-house aligner fabrication that features more than
40 videos, guides and interactive tools and products that meet criteria established by AAO’s committee on technology.

Barco Uniforms Launches
Ecommerce Site
Barco Uniforms has launched an online retail store, barcomade.com,
that allows customers to purchase
scrubs directly from the site and
search for nearby retailers. The
site includes the Los Angeles-based
company’s most popular brands,
including Grey’s Anatomy, Barco One
and the Skechers Vitality Collection.
Barco also announced the hire of
Kerry McLeod as the company’s chief
digital marketing officer. In her role,
McLeod will oversee the company’s
digital transformation and launch
of the direct-to-consumer channel.
Before joining Barco, she oversaw
the ecommerce division of Delta
Apparel, where she was responsible
for all digital marketing efforts.
uLab Systems Announces
Software Upgrade
uLab Systems, the creator of uSmile clear
aligners and uDesign aligner planning software,
has released uDesign version 6.0. The upgrade
is designed to simplify the treatment planning
process, save orthodontists time and advance
uLab’s artificial intelligence-assisted software.
The guided setup feature uses familiar clinical
processes with an AI approach for easier setup;
one-touch bracket removal allows for bracket
removal after scanning so aligners can be ordered
and ready when bracket removal day arrives.
