2025 AAO Ortho Innovator Award Awarded to OrthoBerry

The American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) has named OrthoBerry as the recipient of the 2025 AAO Ortho Innovator Award. Co-founded by Dr. Nourah Abdul Kader, an orthodontic resident at the University of Illinois Chicago, and Karthik Vinayagamoorthi, an AI-powered electronic medical records solution developer, OrthoBerry is the first AI-powered new patient intake platform designed for orthodontic practices.

The AAO Committee on Technology selected OrthoBerry from 34 entries based on feasibility, uniqueness and value to orthodontic practices.

The 2025 Ortho Innovator Award will be presented on April 25 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center during the AAO Annual Session in Philadelphia.

Angel Aligner Announces First U.S. Manufacturing Facility

Angelalign Technology Inc. announces plans to build its first U.S. manufacturing facility in Greater Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The 52,000-square-foot facility in Oak Creek will utilize proprietary 3D printing technology, creating nearly 200 jobs, including 100 construction jobs and up to 80 permanent positions.

To further the commitment to bringing manufacturing closer to the customer base in the Americas, Angel Aligner is simultaneously scaling treatment planning capacity and aligner manufacturing in Brazil.
