After a record sales year and the announcement of $45 million in Series C funding, Irvine, California-based orthodontic company Inbrace has announced financial executive Kevin Cousins as its new chief financial officer. Cousins brings more than 20 years’ experience in senior executive leadership positions in the life sciences industry, successfully managing publicly traded enterprises, venture-backed startups and institutional accounting firms. He is responsible for business planning, investor relations and board of director relationships also while managing the continued buildout of finance, accounting and HR infrastructures.

Secures $18 Million
in Series D Financing
Aligner planning software company uLab Systems has completed an $18 million Series D financing round led by Park West Asset Management and supported by minority investors, including Ortho Studio Express. With the software, orthodontists can create a treatment plan in 10 minutes.
uLab Systems has completed a limited launch of the software with more than 250 U.S. orthodontists and is planning for a significant launch at the American Association of Orthodontists’ annual meeting in May. Many orthodontists have expanded their treatment offerings through hybrid and combination cases with uLab Systems.
