Ivoclar Vivadent To Launch
New Scanners in U.S.
Ivoclar Vivadent will launch
two new scanning solutions in the
United States in the second quarter
of 2021. The intraoral scanners,
powered by 3Shape, will enable
clinicians to deliver accurate,
aesthetic restorations.
PrograScan One scanners,
designed to integrate with the
PrograMill One milling machine, will
use artificial intelligence technology
to automatically remove soft-tissue
artifacts from digital impressions.
With the ability to record the
patient’s dynamic occlusion,
clinicians can ensure that the
restorations have the best possible
fit. The detailed color scan and
shade measurement and enhanced
scanning speed round off the
accurate scanning experience.
The PrograScan One+ scanner
will offer all of the above and also
provide optimized handling with
wireless scanning technology.
MouthWatch Expands Client Success Team
MouthWatch—a provider of teledentistry solutions, digital case presentation tools and intraoral imaging devices—
recently named Michelle Strange, MSDH, RDH, as its newest client success manager.
In her role, Strange will have a variety of responsibilities, including creating training and educational materials for clients
and sharing her clinical knowledge with the product development and marketing teams.
Strange has more than 20 years of experience in numerous roles within dentistry. She is a graduate of the Medical
University of South Carolina with a bachelor’s degree in health science and earned a master’s degree in dental hygiene
education from the University of Bridgeport.
