AAO Promotes Anti-Bullying Campaign in October

For the fifth year, the American Association of Orthodontists will observe National Bullying Prevention Month in October, which is also National Orthodontic Health Month. The AAO invites orthodontic practices to join the “Bullying Bites” anti-bullying campaign by spreading the message on social media and displaying stickers, posters and flyers in their office throughout October. A Bullying Bites awareness kit is available at the AAO store, and members can visit the AAO website to download stickers, posters and flyers.

Angelalign Technology Releases Its Clear Aligner in U.S. Markets

Angelalign Technology has announced the launch of its custom-made Angel Align clear aligners into the U.S. market.

Headquartered in Paris, Angelalign has commercial operations in more than 30 countries. The company also has strategic partnerships with 3Shape and Medit, which enables Angel Aligner providers to have direct integration between 3Shape or Medit products and Angelalign’s iOrtho software, easing the workflow of digital orthodontics.

LightForce Orthodontics Secures $80 Million Funding

LightForce Orthodontics has raised $80 million Series D funding, led by Ally Bridge Group. With the new funding, LightForce will hire more engineers and scientists to further develop its software and hardware. This funding will also prepare the company to grow and scale production capabilities, with a new 36,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Wilmington, Massachusetts.
