Synopsis:
This presentation is designed to educate the prospective buyer on how to approach the financial due diligence aspect of buying a dental practice. You will learn what information you need to look at, how to piece the information together and how to analyze that information to formulate an offer. You will also learn some of the other aspects of the purchase process so you will be prepared when you locate a practice you want to purchase.
Description of Speaker:
Tim Lott is a CPA (Certified Public Accountant) and a CVA (Certified Valuation Analyst) as a Partner with Naden/Lean, LLC, a Professional services and CPA firm with a specific concentration in the dental industry. He has worked with dental professionals for 30 years. In addition to traditional CPA services, he advises his clients on practice performance, practice transitions, business finances, personal finances, budgeting and planning. He is the main contributor to the award-winning Dental CPA Blog, which is popular with dentists across the country. During the past 10 years Lott has increased his focus on buyer representation. On almost any given day he is involved in more than a dozen practice transitions (on behalf of buyers) all over the country.
