We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled dentist to join our client's dental practice. This is a state of the art, private office with a wonderful reputation. The ideal candidate will have either 2 + yrs of experience (or a residency) and a strong foundation in general dentistry, with specialized expertise in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, and restorative procedures. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver comprehensive dental care while fostering positive patient relationships. The successful applicant will demonstrate proficiency in dental terminology, medical documentation, and infection control protocols, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive dental examinations, including patient assessment and diagnosis, utilizing medical imaging and anatomical knowledge.
• Provide a wide range of dental treatments such as dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and endodontics with precision and attention to detail.
• Utilize advanced dental software systems like Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix for documentation, scheduling, and treatment planning.
• Maintain strict adherence to infection control standards and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety.
• Collaborate with the dental team to develop individualized treatment plans that meet patients’ needs and expectations.
• Educate patients on oral health practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions using clear medical terminology.
• Ensure accurate medical records management in compliance with HIPAA regulations and other legal requirements.
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with advancements in general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, and oral surgery techniques.

Qualifications

• Valid dental license to practice in the respective jurisdiction; experience with pediatric dentistry and oral surgery preferred.
• Proven experience working in a dental clinic or dental office environment with familiarity in dental fabrication processes.
• Proficiency in using dental management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for patient records and administrative tasks.
• Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, and anatomy relevant to oral health.
• Demonstrated expertise in infection control protocols and aseptic techniques within a clinical setting.
• Ability to perform complex procedures including dental extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics confidently.
