AAO Announces Collaboration with Wharton Online
In partnership with Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, the
American Association of Orthodontists announced the launch of “Mastering the
Business of Orthodontics (MBO),” a member-exclusive online learning program
designed to help orthodontists build their business and leadership skills.
The program covers eight essential areas taught by Wharton professors and
AAO instructors with a series of guest speakers who are orthodontic industry
experts. Students will learn how to incorporate business concepts into their practice.
Members will build their knowledge in improving productivity, patient-centered
marketing, financial acumen, people management and leadership practices.
Registration is now open for the eight-week winter and spring programs.

EasyRx, a provider of universal

enhanced integration with Ortho2’s
Edge Treatment Chart.
The integration streamlines the
EasyRx workflow for Ortho2 Edge Cloud
users, increasing time savings and
improving patient care. When enabled,
EasyRx prescriptions display in the
patient’s treatment chart record,
allowing the practice to review and
manage the EasyRx prescription directly
from Edge.
EasyRx and Ortho2 Edge Cloud
released the initial integration in
2018. Ortho2 Edge Cloud, cloud-based
orthodontic practice management
software, offers practices an all-in-one
package to better manage patient
information.
Vivos Therapeutics Opens International Training Center in Denver
Vivos Therapeutics, a medical technology company focused on developing and commercializing diagnostics and treatment for
patients suffering from sleep-disordered breathing, including mild to moderate obstructive sleep apnea, has opened the Vivos Institute
training center in Denver.
The 15,000-square-foot facility was established to provide advanced postgraduate education and training to dentists, dental teams
and other health care providers from around the world in a live and hands-on setting. The facility can accommodate 300–400 health
care professionals a day. The institute’s emphasis will be on educating health care providers about obstructive sleep apnea and Vivos’
treatments within their practice areas, along with training on Vivos’ related practice management tools.
